North Shenandoah Industrial Park

The park is bounded by I-81, U.S. Route 11 and 55.  Site has direct access to two interchanges for I-81 and is one mile from interchange to I -66.    

Size

There are five property owners within the park.  The Shenandoah County IDA owns approximately 63 acres within the park. Approximately 77 acres have been rezoned business/commercial.

The topography is rolling.  The site is not in a flood plain.

Utilities

A two million gallon storage tank is located adjacent to the park.  Water and Sewer lines were installed in the fall of 1999.  The Town of Strasburg supplies both the water and sewer to the industrial park.  Shenandoah County completed the water and sewer infrastructure in the fall of 1999.

Transportation

An industrial access road (Rt. 825) which provides access to the eastern portion of the park was completed in December 1999.  Access to Interstate 81 is provided by two interchanges from Rt. 11 and Rt. 55.   One mile to the North is Interstate 66, which provides direct access to Washington D.C.
